About the SBFCS Southern Queensland
The Small Business Financial Counselling Service (SBFCS) Southern Queensland is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the sustainability of small businesses and their communities throughout Southern Queensland.
With funding from the Australian Government and Queensland Government, we deliver:
- Small Business Financial Counselling service and Small Business Financial Resilience service
- Small Business Wellbeing Support service
- other support programs across the region.
Small businesses in Southern Queensland have seen their fair share of hardship and significant stress as a result global events, natural disasters and economic impacts and we’re here to support small businesses so that they can respond effectively to these challenges. We provide business owners with the tools and knowledge that encourages improvements in their financial situation as well as their personal health and wellbeing. Above all, helping small businesses plan and achieve a better future.
We support businesses in 34 Local Government Areas throughout Southern Queensland. This includes small businesses in regional communities together with metro areas such as Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Our Small Business Financial Counsellors and Small Business Wellbeing Coaches are embedded within the communities that they support. This enables them to have a first-hand understanding of the challenges being faced by their small business clients.
