About Janine Shepherdson

Janine is a Small Business Financial Counsellor supporting small business operators in Western Queensland (Barcoo, Boulia, Bulloo, Diamantina, Longreach, Murweh, Paroo, Quilpie and Winton).

Growing up on a cotton farm near Biloela, Janine has lived experience in remote and regional areas and is familiar with the impacts of natural disasters and harsh economic conditions on small business in the local community.

With close to 40 years in the banking and finance sectors, Janine understands the challenges facing small businesses. Janine has worked closely with owners to analyse and understand their financial position and looks forward to supporting small business owners in this role.

Janine holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and is currently completing the Diploma of Financial Counselling.

Janine works with a team of Financial Counsellors located throughout Southern Queensland.
