Rod is a Small Business Financial Counsellor based in Ipswich. He supports South East Queensland businesses in Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Rod is passionate about helping small businesses navigate their financial challenges, as well as achieve stability and growth. His journey into financial counselling began after successfully managing his own small business in the Scenic Rim.

Having spent over 20 years in finance, business analysis and agribusiness management, Rod has developed a deep understanding of financial management and strategic planning. He has worked across both large corporate agribusiness operations and family-owned businesses nationwide, giving him a comprehensive perspective on the unique challenges faced by businesses of all sizes.

With a robust network in the business community and a passion for empowering small business owners, Rod is committed to helping local businesses achieve their goals. He employs a strength-based approach to assisting clients, leveraging their strengths and empowering them to develop new skills and make informed decisions.

Rod holds a Bachelor of Business (Agriculture) and is currently completing his Diploma in Financial Counselling. He continually seeks to enhance his skills to better serve his clients and is dedicated to providing professional, confidential and respectful service to the businesses in Ipswich and surrounding areas.

He works with a team of Financial Counsellors located throughout Southern Queensland. These services are proudly funded by the Queensland Government and we’re delivering them on their behalf.
