About Sharon Kingston
Sharon is a Small Business Financial Counsellor based in Yeppoon. She supports Central Queensland businesses in Livingstone, Rockhampton, Banana, Gladstone and Central Highlands areas.
Sharon joined the team as a Small Business Financial Counsellor in June 2020 when Queensland was first feeling the impacts of COVID-19 and set about assisting businesses in her region to find a path through the pandemic.
Growing up in Injune, Western Queensland, Sharon and her family relocated to Yeppoon where she transitioned to working for a local accountant in the area for 13 years. With a strong community focus and a developed affinity for business analysis, Sharon’s passion to assist businesses navigate issues and complexities was realised within her current role.
Sharon enjoys empowering and enabling small business owners to understand their options, consider their outcomes and to work together to make informed decisions on the direction chosen by the business owner.
She holds a Diploma of Financial Counselling, Certificate in Communication and Certificate in Foundation Tax. Additionally Sharon is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified).
Sharon works with a team of Financial Counsellors located throughout Southern Queensland.
