About Katherine Watson
Katherine Watson is a Business Wellbeing Coach and the Program Co-ordinator for the Business Wellbeing Support Service across Southern Queensland. She supports all Southern Queensland areas through:
- in-person support in South East Queensland
- telephone and video calls in all Southern Queensland
In this role Katherine has provided wellbeing support to a number of primary producers and small business owners to help build skills and strategies, improve decision-making and learn how to adapt in times of change.
With a passion for rural mental health, Katherine’s previous work at Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Queensland has seen her provide support to drought affected communities and delivering community psychoeducational programs.
Katherine employs a person-centred and strengths-based approach, to create safe and trusting connections with her clients. She is committed to motivating clients to make positive changes to meet their future goals. Katherine’s academic background in Psychology (Honours) combined with her specialized training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, lays the foundation for her work in making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Katherine works with a team of Wellbeing Coaches located throughout Southern Queensland. These services are proudly funded by the Queensland Government and we’re delivering them on their behalf.
